Every time I take a lesson, I’m told the same thing……..I don’t transfer my weight. I have never been given a drill or a good way to break my bad habit. I would welcome any advice. Thanks.
Start your downswing by moving your hips toward the target, Then turn them in the direction of the target. That will do two things. It will move your weight toward the target and also drag your arms and hands down into the hitting area before your hands uncock.
With a little practice you should be able to hit it more consistently and farther. It causes you to use your body muscles which are a lot stronger than your arms and hands.
This should also keep you from hitting outside-in (hitting across the ball).
